Firefly Neuroscience Evoke platform to join Radial's AI clinical OS
Firefly Neuroscience has announced a strategic collaboration with Radial to integrate its Evoke EEG/ERP platform into RadialOS, Radial's proprietary AI-native operating system for brain medicine clinics. The partnership aims to embed objective, quantitative brain-function data directly into the clinical workflow at Radial's network of 27 clinics across seven US states.
Firefly's Evoke system combines quantitative electroencephalography and event-related potential testing with AI-powered analytics. The platform carries FDA 510(k) clearance and is designed to help clinicians identify brain-activity patterns, differentiate patients whose symptoms overlap across conditions such as depression, PTSD, ADHD and dementia, and track treatment response over time. Firefly says it holds a proprietary database of more than 200,000 standardised EEG/ERP brain scans, which it describes as the largest known repository of its kind.
Greg Lipschitz, chief executive of Firefly, said the combination of Radial's clinical reach and operating infrastructure with Evoke's data "could help clinicians make more informed decisions, personalise care and objectively measure how patients respond over time."
The deal and its context
The collaboration follows Radial's August 2026 acquisition of the management services organisation supporting Mindful Health Solutions, a move that significantly expanded the company's clinic footprint. Radial, which is backed by General Catalyst, describes its network as treating hundreds of thousands of patients annually and accepting most major US insurance plans including Medicare, Aetna, Cigna and United.
Owen Muir, co-founder and chief scientific officer of Radial, noted that while brain medicine treatments are advancing rapidly, "most clinics are operating on outdated infrastructure." He framed the integration as a way to give clinicians actionable, objective data at the point of care. Radial's platform already supports delivery of transcranial magnetic stimulation, esketamine and other interventional therapies.
Market landscape
The deal sits within a broader movement to bring objective, biomarker-driven measurement to mental health and psychiatry, a field that has historically relied almost entirely on subjective, symptom-rating scales. Several companies are competing in adjacent spaces: digital biomarker firms, EEG-based neurofeedback platforms and AI-assisted psychiatric decision-support tools have all attracted venture backing over the past three years, though regulatory clearance for diagnostic EEG at the specificity Firefly targets remains a meaningful differentiator.
For Firefly, the Radial partnership provides scale that would be difficult to replicate through individual clinic sales. For Radial, Evoke adds a layer of objective measurement that could strengthen both clinical outcomes tracking and payer negotiations, particularly as US insurers face growing pressure to demonstrate value in mental health reimbursement.
The integration is described as planned rather than completed, and neither company has disclosed a commercial timeline, revenue-sharing terms or data-governance arrangements. Investors in Firefly, which trades on NASDAQ under the ticker AIFF, will be watching for confirmation that the integration has been deployed operationally and for any outcome data that follows.
