TrueProfile.io and MediLearning partner to expand GCC healthcare CPD
DataFlow Services has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MediLearning International, embedding accredited continuing professional development content directly into its TrueProfile.io credential verification platform for healthcare professionals across the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Under the agreement, MediLearning will supply a minimum of 70 Dubai Health Authority-accredited CPD and CME courses covering doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacists. The courses will be listed on TrueProfile.io's marketplace and made available to verified healthcare professionals in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
The deal
The partnership is framed around a structural gap in GCC healthcare workforce compliance. Across the region, licensing regulators currently permit only around 30% of required CPD credits to be completed via online learning, and no single platform has consolidated the full range of accredited courses professionals need. DataFlow is positioning TrueProfile.io as the solution: rather than treating verification as a one-off check, the platform now aims to support the entire compliance lifecycle, from credential authentication through to ongoing licence renewal.
Amit Gupta, Chief Strategy Officer at DataFlow, said the MediLearning partnership is "a clear example" of the company's strategy to move beyond verification. "Solving the CPD access gap is a real need for the region's workforce, and closing it strengthens the value TrueProfile delivers to both HCPs and the healthcare employers who depend on a compliant, licensed workforce," he said.
MediLearning's founder and chief executive Graham Cooke described the tie-up as a "landmark moment for CPD in the region", adding that integration with TrueProfile.io would give hospitals sharper visibility into workforce compliance.
The two companies plan to expand the course catalogue to more than 170 accredited titles within six months, with a formal services agreement to follow the current MOU.

Digital CPD and workforce credentialing for healthcare professionals is a growing segment across the MENA region, driven by rapid expansion of hospital capacity in Saudi Arabia and the UAE under their respective national health strategies. GCC governments have tightened licensing enforcement in recent years, raising demand for platforms that can demonstrate real-time compliance to regulators and hospital administrators alike.
DataFlow operates across the GCC, broader MENA, Africa, India, and the Philippines, and competes in a fragmented market where credential verification and CPD distribution have historically sat in separate products. Integrating both on a single platform follows a model already established in more mature markets such as the UK, where bodies including the GMC and the RCN have long linked revalidation to structured CPD records. Whether the DHA's current 30% online credit cap will be revised upward, as the digital learning sector is advocating, could significantly influence how quickly an integrated platform like TrueProfile.io scales its CPD revenues across the wider GCC.
